CASIO MTP-1335D-2A REVIEW

"Tough and Reliable" is what first comes into mind when I think about casio watches the next word would be "affordable" and this casio promises to deliver the same thing but this time with more "style" let's find out why.

Watches are tools but at the same time through the years they have become a part of the people who wear them and some people would say the watches may even define those who wear it themselves.

QUARTZ

So this watch is not a mechanical movement just a battery and a very reliable Casio movement. you can bet your house that this thing is so reliable while nothing special compared to a Grand Seiko or Orient, this will do the job decently and it will stay reliable longer than you would expect and with +- 20 seconds per month this is probably as reliable as your desktop's time as long as the battery is still in performing condition.

BUILD

The quality they put into this is more than I expected to pay for, it already has that premium feel thanks to it's combination of brushed metal and polished steel. Sometimes at a glance the bracelet resembles that of an omega seamster's.

What amazes me is how well the parts fit together unlike other watches at this price range this watch will not give that "shakey"feeling and you will not here anything rattle too much when you move your wrist around.

With 50 meter water resist rating you can go wash the dishes or wash your car yourself. oh you can also swim with this watch but of course you don't need to because this is the type of watch you only wear in formal occasions or daily office use.

DIAL

This is perhaps one of the best parts about this watch, this dial tries it's best to make you feel like a king it's not a normal surface as it has stripes and markings that give a more premium look.

The hands are sword style with an added lume for when it get's dark, it's not as bright as a seiko but it is enough for a "just for that use" kinda way.

AFTER A YEAR REPORT

It is now April 29 2017 and this watch still works, I take it everyday with me to the office and it never failed once, it still looks good as new except for the scratches so the chrome finish on this really stood the test of a year.

"This is a kind of watch that after a stressful day, you just pause and appreciate the beauty of the design and the details put into such an affordable watch makes it a winner on my book."
